Also known as KevinLandskite, I've been hooked on kitesurfing since I was 12.
I want to share that passion in a fun and safe environment, so you can progress quickly and ride with confidence.
After completing a master's degree in economics and management, I'm happy to make a living from my passion as an IKO kiteboarding instructor.

My story
I grew up on Réunion Island, where unfortunately there was no kite school. For more than a year, I watched every kitesurfing video I could find on YouTube. My parents eventually took me to Rodrigues to learn. But during that first week, there was not a breath of wind — even though, at 40 kg, I had a 16 m² kite!
We went back six months later. This time the wind showed up, and I finally learned with Douf Kite: it was an amazing experience. Back on Réunion Island, my parents bought me second-hand equipment from a shop. I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did for me.
During my first independent launch, when I was 15, things did not go as planned. The kite was too far upwind, outside the wind window. When I told my assistant to let go, it drifted through the middle of the power zone and hit the sand leading edge first. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
A couple of kiters immediately came over to help me. They taught me how to launch correctly and, more importantly, showed me the spirit of this sport: “Whenever you're new to a spot, always talk to the local kiters so you understand the dangers and how the spot works.”
Ever since that day, whenever I see someone who looks a little lost on a spot, I go over, talk to them and offer to help. That is the spirit of mutual support I want to pass on in turn.
